Get well soon Grandma & Grandpa! We're sad you aren't feeling well and bummed we can't come visit. We don't have any chicken soup to send you, but here's a photo of Maddie in her duckie jammies to cheer you up. Love you!

Madeleine officially rolled over for the first time a few weeks ago, but hasn't done it much since...until today. Almost everytime I put her on her tummy this morning, she casually rolled over to her back. Here's proof of her rocking, rolling, and excessively drooling...

During the Parade of Homes last month, we visited quite a few homes in Daybreak. Christian and I really liked what we saw out there, so much so that we drove out to the community twice. The area is so CUTE and I love the colorful homes and the clean neighborhoods. I told Christian that we should build there, but he said that it felt like a Stepford community. As much as I like Daybreak, I had to agree that the area does seem too good to be true and this perfect community must have something wrong with it. Last week I think I uncovered the dark side of this area….DUCKS!
Madeleine and I drive out to Oquirrh Lake and walk around the endless paths for some fresh air and exercise. Every time we venture out there, there are always quite a few ducks. At first they blended in with the scenery, but the other day one of them became quite bold. I was sitting with Maddie on the end of a pier, and a duck flew into the water, slowly swam towards us and then jumped up right next to us. I quickly jumped up and we walked away, but the duck STILL followed us. It took a good 10 minutes until it gave up the chase. Considering my fear of everything fowl, I think in the future it’d be best to approach the area with caution!
